Piet de Vos is in his forest. He is happy and likes to walk around a lot.

One day Piet de Vos hears strange noises….

He doesn’t know what’s going on and he’s going to see what’s going on.

And oh, what does he see there??? A crying little boy running away from a big brown bear chasing him.

“What am I supposed to do now?” thought Piet? “I would love to help the little boy, but I don’t know how! What am I supposed to do?”.

Piet thinks carefully and suddenly it comes to mind, “bears love to eat honey!!! But where can he find honey?’

Soon he goes looking for his girlfriends from the bee colony. Luckily, he almost immediately meets his girlfriend Mia the Bee: “Mia, Mia, you have to help me” he says. Mia looks at him in amazed and asks, “What’s going on Piet???”

“There’s a little boy in the woods a little bit away and he’s being chased by a big bear,” “we need to do something fast and you have to help me Mia”.

“Yes,” says Mia, I’d like to help, but how could I do that?”.

“Honey” piet replies, “I need honey because bears love honey very much and if I can give the bear honey then maybe he will stop chasing the little boy!”.

“That’s a good idea,

Piet.” Mia quickly summons all her sisters from the bee colony and tells them what’s going on.

Then all the bees fly to their bee’s nest and take out a very large piece of honey and give it to Piet.

He tackles it and then runs back to the path as fast as the wind and sees that the little boy is still being chased by the bear.

Piet quickly throws the honey on the road, right in front of the big bear.

The bear immediately stops and first smells the honey. Hmm, that smells great. Then he starts to feast on it and only pays attention to that delicious honey.

“Run home fast now,” Piet says to the little boy “quickly, quickly”.

The little boy quickly runs off and further on he turns around again and waves to Piet to thank him for his rescue.
Then he’ll move on to home quickly, to Mom and Dad.
